The AOTL-7 is a new developing hypersonic propulsion system designed for space flight and aeronautical applications, incorporating geometric patterns drawn from nature that provide unique advantages in dynamic and static functionalities, efficient management of shock-boundary layer interactions, and many other cutting-edge developments in design and engineering. All inspired by the Lord our God and His amazing creation, to create an engine unlike any other in the past, present, or future.
At Streamline-Space Flight and Aeronautics, we are incorporating rotational detonation engine (RDE) concepts and technology to establish the most efficient and powerful combustion section of the overall propulsion system. RDE is still under development but initial testing and validation shows great promise for an ideal thrust-weight ratio and fuel consumption necessary for sustained hypersonic flight. A pressure wave created from a detonation is much more powerful than combustion through deflagration.
